Hi Alan,
I re-read Harbeth Landmarks in Issue3 Oct 07..I wonder why it did not tell when HL Compact being upgraded to HL Compact 7 with Radial cone..The compact 7 was the 1st model to use Radial cone right?

Yes, correct, the HL Compact 7 was indeed the first Harbeth to feature the Harbeth-made RADIAL cone. As for timescale - it was a long, long time ago now. Our children were small. About 1985?

Hi Alan, I think you mean 1995? The Compact 7 was my 1st Harbeth. Now I own SHL5, I still love it very much..

The original Compact was the 1st Harbeth to use a 25mm SEAS aluminium dome tweeter. Models prior to the compact use soft dome tweeters from Audax.
