I'll have to wait until tomorrow morning before I can take a picture of them in natural light. Attached is a picture of the top of one of the C7s as it came out of the box. The rosewood color and finish can be seen fairly clearly.

Congratulations evs71. Have you run your palm over the compacts yet? Down the sides (both) and along the top. It has become almost a weekly routine of mine (sometimes more often), and almost each time after a listen :0) enjoy!.
