Regarding to the P3ESR for low volume listening and other things, I just switched from the M30 to the P3ESR. My wife finds the M30 too big and I've decided to give the smaller (and wonderfully so!)...
What effect does physical contact with the driver have? I noticed that the metal dome covering the tweeter is actually touching the grille, but I didn't think that's important, I don't notice...
I live in Spain, I was just hoping I could buy the fabric and do it myself, since It's not a difficult task and it's just a cosmetic issue. I guess the dealer will be expensive, I'll contact them...
I have damaged the fabric at the corners of the grilles of my M30 while trying to remove them (which by the way, I haven't been able to), could I buy the fabric and reupholster then myself? Where can...
I've read the posts about matching a subwoofer with the M30. The only recommendations I've found are the Quad Gradient sw-63, and the Velodyne DD10 (too expensive for me).
Does anyone know of a...
Thank you very much, I can't find the designer's notebook about setup but I guess it'll be up once you solve the link to the old site. Regards.
Moderator's comment: The full Designer's Notebook...
In the following link: http://www.harbeth.co.uk/faq/index.php the first topic is about evaluating speakers and it includes links to an mp3 with speech and to the designer's notebook mentioned in this...
Resurrecting an old topic, did someone notice any audible differences bringing the speaker forward as mentioned? Most of the stands designed for Harbeths have top plates more or less equal to the...
After almost a year with the Monitor 30 I have recently decided to take another approach at stands and raised them even higher than usual. With my home made light pine open frame stands and an...

{Moderator's comment: the M30 is the second smallest Harbeth speaker next only to the P3ESR.}
I thought the second smallest place belonged to the M20, is it not in production...
The Monitor 30 is my personal favorite Harbeth, but like I said, it is personal. I have a smaller room, so the SHL5 would have too much bass in it. However, in a larger room, the bass of a SHL5 tends...
Anyone please knows what is the least resonant, heaviest wood to build a pair of open frame stands? Oak, Ash, Maple, other...? I tend to think about oak because I don't know of any instruments made...
Hello Zindra, did you see the pic I posted on the M30 on the cradle stand you where interested in?
Yes, I did see the pic, thank you. I contacted Pear Audio but they don't make...
Pear Audio doesn't seem to be making those stands anymore. This has getting me thinking about the Skylan, which is easily available, or I may even try to make a rough home version to check the...
What optimization would you suggest...? Except for positioning, which I've already fiddled around, even lowering the speakers to reinforce bass, I don't want to start replacing components and such....
I am 43, I am certainly losing sight, but my ears still seem fine! I know I can hear it because I did the same test with the previous full range speakers.
I've had the Monitor 30 for a few months now, great speaker, great timbre, but as I said in a previous post, I am missing the authority and sense of scale that my previous full range speakers had.

Thank you very much! Did you finally order them? Is Pear Audio Europe the maker? I looked at their website but the stands were not featured. I'd really like to five those a try for the Monitor 30.
Thank you very much. ¿Did you finally order them?
I found the attached picture surfing the internet. Can anybody please tell me where to find these stands? They look appealing to me because they are open frame and tilt the speaker.

Ok. That's all I wanted to know, thank you very much.
I really like the M30s, the only thing I miss from time to time is a bit more of foundation and size, more sense of real venue. Maybe because...
I started by saying that this modification, like any other, of course, would null the warranty. Whoever claims a false warranty claim is as false as his claim.
I don't agree that jumpers don't make...
Of course I understand this will void the warranty and should be done by someone skilled enough, but I wonder if it's possible to combine the two leads coming off the crossover to one set of binding...
Hello to everyone, I am new to the forum and have just gotten a new pair of P3ESR. My previous speakers were the complete opposite in terms of size, specs, etc: Von Schweikert VR4S, huge speakers,...
