Yes I remember what you told me ) Tube just for preamp but poweramp I still prefer single mosfet by GamuT than tube amp

Yes I like the sound and design from this two model so classic elegant, Room acoustic, placement speaker and component is very important to achieve optimal sound although Harbeth is quite user friendly but when you treat them properly they will bring you to audio nirvana

hi,

i also use M40.1 and agree that you do NOT need a subwoofer. i measured them in my room at 31 Hz with only -2 dB! i have to add that i use a digital room correction system.

Absolutely! especially when you have - 15dB (!) at 80Hz as in my room due to roof pitch made of plaster boards. there is absolutely no passive means that could help me. the lyngdorf "room perfect" is a bless for me.

Just replaced cable speaker from Harmonic Technology Fantasy to Pro-9 plus are more detailed, more open, bass is deeper and staging is deeper with improved imaging.

Beaks make the center image more solid especially when I'm play C7ES3 because distance between speaker is quite far.

Preamp McIntosh C2300 good in micro dynamic, subtle details, timbre is delicate, liquid midrange, smooth and continuous. Recommended for Harbeth speaker
