Wow thks for sharing Sabastien. Its really sad that Paul has to give up his collection due to failing health.
I've seen it in the tube and also in the tele. BTW thanks for sharing. Lately in the US, thousands of historical recordings found hidden in old JBLM gym.

The turntable used to play the 16" discs is , I think, a "Gates" turntable similar to those we used to use for the BBC Radio1 roadshow, in the good old days of vinyl. An instant start was guaranteed by a near 1/4 horsepower motor!
The tonearm is I think a 12" SME, no similarity at all to the original Gates, which was like a u-section girder!
