i'm going to this year's hifi show in Munich and i'm a bit quriuos about your choice of speakers that will be used. I guess the new one, but will the be a chance that 40,1 and the monitor 30 will be displayed?
Are you visiting this year Alan?

On what date will we learn of the new Harbeth speaker?
{Moderator's comment: the update will be announced at Munich next week}
i'm really looking forward to the munich show. We are 4 friends from my hometown in Norway that will arrive on Thursday.
The suspense is killing me. Maybe we could have a contest to guess what this new speaker might be and where it would fall within the product line.
the biggest gap is between the Shl5 and the Monitor40.1
My guess is something priced between the both.
{Moderator's comment: No, this is a model update.}
Munich Show 2012.
I am guessing that all Harbeth models will be on display.
Wondering if visitors would like a free giveaway speaker stand?

Cheers,

I wonder if the SHL5 will have a RADIAL2 cone ...
Hm...or M30.1?
"Bath in Music"
here in Germany i found some hints on a 30.1 in dealer advertisings.

I feel that Monitor 30 has been updated. Probably M30.1? Or perhaps an M20.1?
Surely, the M20.1 is the P3ESR ?
i actually thought that it was a brand new speaker, and not just a upgrade for a existing speaker.
It's the Monitor 30.1. I'm quite excited to hear it.
yes, i read yesterday the official announcement of the german distributor: M30.1
can we listen to it in munich or will it be displayed only?
best,

{Moderator's comment: the conditions in the public hall are just not good enough for demo, in our view.}

I look forward to listening to the M30.1. Alan has created a true benchmark with the P3ESR so if the M30.1 has inherited some of those ESR genes, it will draw the listener in with an amazingly organic, enveloping soundstage and an incredibly fine driver integration.

Wow, they look great! I'm already looking round the room to see what I can free-up!
The May newsletter is out now too, with more information. I had no idea the original Monitor 30 has been around for 15 years, so this is indeed a major product launch. I can't wait to hear a demo, I think I'm going to find it hard to resist ordering a pair.
I feel another 'Stereo Sound Japan' award could be round the corner...
