New M30 User

I received my M30's 2 weks ago and am in music heaven! These are exceptional loudspeakers.
I don't think Alan is a designer he is an alchemist.
Just out of interest I would like to hear other users experience of placement.I found after trying
many positions that I got the best sound placing the speakers firing straight on rather than toed in.
I presume that most of the influence is room based,bounderies etc.?

If anyone is interested my system comprises:
Michell Orbe/sme 309 ortofon MC30
Audio Research cd3mk 11
Audio Research LS26
Audio Research Ref 110.

Since you have just purchases the speakers are they the new 30.1 or the 30. Alan is there an upgrade to the 30.1 speaker for owners of the 30?

It is all very room-dependant, but I have never have found any of the Harbeth speakers to sound best when firing straight forward. I like a fair amount of toe-in with all of them, where I can just see a small stroke of the inner sides of the speakers.
