The clockmaker's workshop and bi-wire links

The bi-wire links on Harbeth speakers are plated by a watch-maker and here is a short video of my visit to his clock-repair workshop where he has a pair of P3ES. I collected a batch of links from him.

Unfortunately, the camera's sound quality is 8 bit and I cannot generate 16 bit quality in post-production. As mentioned in the HD video thread, once data has been discarded, it's gone for good. I will re-make this video in the spring, when the weather improves.

Thankyou A.S.Really enjoyed that little video clip.Would you consider doing this kind of video inside the Harbeth factory.It would be fascinating to meet some of the people who work behind the scene at Harbeth.See how the factory functions day to day.Perhaps this would be too intrusive.Just an idea.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm sorry that due to a fault in the camera the sound seems to be of about 8 bit quality. We've tried very hard to make the best of it. As I mentioned, I'll re-film it. As mentioned here, we have a mountain of video archive, and intend to make 2010 'the year of the Harbeth video'.

Lovely to see once again the clockmaker's workshop(s) - another interest of mine, although my clumsiness prevents me from tackling clock movement repairs... Actually, the older movements are stronger than more recent mass produced ones with "plasticine" pivots, but that's another very long story.....

Thank you for posting this little video and stop apologising for the quality... It's not bad at all for the purpose.
