Vocalist sounds centered slightly above and a couple of feet behind the instruments. Can hear the saxophonist's breath traveling through the mouthpiece pleasant and clear. Can also hear a realistic "brassy breath rumble" inside the mouthpiece at the moment the player attacks the note. Clear overtone filled trumpet sounds. Quite realistic as if I was playing in an orchestra sitting next to the trumpet section. Sound staging places the drummer behind and between a tenor sax player heard slight above and to the right of the drummer with pianist to left at same height as drummer. The three 24-bit files are 6:45, 5:17, and 4:33 in length (PCM 9216kbps 192000Hz stereo).
Having traded up from P3ESRs to a pair of C7ES3s yesterday it was a pleasant coincidence tonight that I was surfing the net looking for some audiophile quality music samples to enjoy with my new speakers.
Thanks again.
