Although we are still waiting for more details to emerge on the Magic Box, may I humbly suggest that the Magic Box to incorporate Recursive Ambiophonic Crosstalk Eliminator (RACE).

It is said that stereo distorts localisation. You can read about how stereo messes things up here. There are some recording samples you can hear to find out the benefits of Ambiophonics.

To those who are computer savvy, you can download the program for free and try out to see the benefits of them.

I've had a look at the links you suggest which are very interesting. But as far as I can see, the signal processing, written in Java, needs to run on a PC/MAC platform, and is not a stand alone solution. Also, does the programme run in real time - that is, apply the processing live, as the music is playing or only on a .wav file in non real time? This isn't clear to me.

Has anyone tried the crosstalk eliminator software?
